Girish Pai K

Founder

Girish is a graduate in Commerce, gold medalist and 7th rank holder from Mangalore University. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He also holds post qualification diploma in International Trade Laws and WTO (ITL-WTO) awarded by the ICAI.

He was a member of RBI Committee on Customer Services in Banks. As a committee member, he extensively researched and analysed FEMA provisions relating to Resident and Non-resident individuals and submitted his report and recommendations to RBI.

He has 15 years of professional experience in the field of FEMA, audits and assurances and taxation matters. Before establishing this firm, Girish had worked in managerial capacity in the audit and assurance division of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, Sharp & Tannan. He had also worked in the taxation division of Ernst & Young. He earned his experience in management consultancy during his tenure with erstwhile A.F. Ferguson & Co. During the aforesaid tenure, some of the major clients he serviced are – Larson & Tubro (L&T), Mangalore Chemical & Fertilizers, Crompton & Greaves, Grover Vineyards, Punjab National Bank, IDBI, UB Group, Soft Layer (IBM Company), Sensata Technologies, Commonfloor, Erasmic Investment Ventures, Thorogood Associates India etc.

He was also a founding partner of another Chartered Accountancy firm Mark & Girish till February 2017.
